Colorado vacation, Labor Day 2000

August 31 - Flew from Lansing to Denver via Minneapolis.

Sept 1 - Breakfast in the hotel near the airport. A second breakfast in Georgetown.

Sept 2 - Took chairlift up the mountain in Breckenridge. According to the ticket, anyone using a ski area in Colorado is a skier. We may have looked like a couple of people wandering around in sneakers, but we skied Breckenridge.

Sept 3 - Drove over Independence Pass to Aspen.

Took a bus from Aspen to the Maroon Bells.

Stopped at Leadville Airport. This Cessna was struggling into the air.
